Holly is encouraging, supportive and friendly, adapting to your needs. She works on improving muscle strength, balance and confidence, achieving goals and maintaining them for future improvements.
We look forward to seeing her every week and can really see the difference she makes.
Annie and her carer Gayle
Karen has worked with Isabel for many years. The highest standards of professionalism are shown at all times, together with kindness and understanding of Isabel’s needs. Each physio session is thought out and prepared but if Isabel is off-colour or needs just someone to talk to, Karen is flexible and kind enough to do this. Karen is hands on with Isabel’s carers and will give guidance where necessary. Isabel has a degenerative condition, but she is as good as she can be, we feel, with Karen’s input and diligence in keeping tabs on her day to day health.
Pam – mother of Isabel who has multiple sclerosis
Thank you so much for all your help, you gave Mum a renewed confidence, something she has not had in ages.

Following a stroke and four days in hospital I was recommended to Holly for some necessary Neuro Physio. After a very comprehensive initial phone conversation she visited my home on several occasions. Providing some excellent physio, care, advice and support, for which I am truly grateful. Having addressed all my concerns, she has enabled me to return to my previous active life.

Karen has been my therapist for just over a year now and I could never have imagined the progress that I have made. I have a condition called Functional Neurological Disorder, along with a number of other conditions, e.g Fibromyalgia. Having had chronic illness from the age of 12, I’ve been through my fair share of physiotherapists, some better than others I must admit! I was 20 when I decided enough was enough, FND had left me unable to walk and the NHS physio team had let me down. I therefore decided to pursue private physiotherapy and I have never looked back.
I had my first session with Karen upon returning from University, after having to leave due to my illness and being in hospital. I remember being quite depressed and not feeling very optimistic about the session, especially with my previous experience of physio. How wrong I was! I had never before met such an understanding, encouraging, fun, genuine, knowledgeable health professional! Karen was so sensitive to my situation and did not make me do anything I didn’t want to do, yet at the same time encouraged me to push myself to just the right level. I left the session feeling hopeful for the future, that things could improve, and so they did.

Working with Holly doing pool-based physiotherapy is seriously fun, humorous, a sociable activity & she Enables me not Disables me so I can get on with my busy life. Holly is informative and I have felt much stronger in my right leg recently which helps standing and transfers into the car.
You are so good and you really make a difference to my life, thank you Holly.

‘I just wanted to say a huge thank you for coming to see me yesterday. It was lovely to meet you and I found the appointment so helpful and very reassuring and it really gave me a gigantic boost to finally find out what’s what’.
Lady with a rare muscle condition
Well it has been a year since my stroke, and although I am not quite “out of the woods yet” I can do most things. My balance is still a bit “iffy” so I have to be careful when turning but I can cope. I always tell people how you helped me to get walking again and I would certainly recommend you. I can walk without a stick short distances, I can walk up small flights of stairs and get myself down. I have driven my car, and I try to live as normal as I can. In two weeks, I am flying to Italy for my son’s wedding. So thank you so much for giving me the confidence to do things I never thought I would do again.
Sandra Ellis, stroke-survivor
“I’ve found having physio sessions online really helpful. It’s very easy to use, and being able to see one another means exercises can be demonstrated and practised together, and your own performance be checked. It’s been brilliant during the pandemic as it’s meant that I could continue to see my physiotherapist and ask for advice throughout.”
Rose – Bournemouth
‘Thank you Holly for helping me when my face went funny. I am so pleased it is now back to normal.’
Mrs C, Bells Palsy
I was lucky to work with Holly at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. She was a great addition to our team and a real team player.
Holly taught me a lot about managing and assessing people with Neurological problems and always gave everyone the time they needed. She treats people with great respect and her level of expertise always means people fulfil their potential.
I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone with a Neurological problem.

“Have done it….! 4 hours on skis today. Only blue runs but it felt good. Thanks for your encouragement.”
An exciting message to receive from the slopes in France from a lady who recovered from Guillain-Barré Syndrome!
